- Abstract acceptance deadline: 20.12.2026.
- Early bird fees payment deadline: 20.01.2026
- Fees payment deadline (mandatory to add the presentation to the programme): 31.01.2027
- Paper submission (after the conference. Deadline: 31.03.2027)
Important information
- Only one presentation per paying participant will be scheduled.
- During the conference, the slot for each presentation will be 15 minutes: 10 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for the Q&As.
Authors of accepted abstracts for the IGF29 Conference are invited to submit a full paper (deadline: 31.03.2027). To provide maximum flexibility and visibility for your research, we offer two distinct publication pathways. Click HERE for more details.
A selection of the presented titles will be invited to submit extended versions to be published in Fracture and Structural Integrity.

HOW TO ARRIVE IN VINCENZA
By plane:
The airports nearest to Vicenza are Venice Marco Polo (75 km from Vicenza), Verona Valerio Catullo (60 km from Vicenza) and Treviso Antonio Canova (60 km from Vicenza); both airports are served by many frequent international flights. From both Venice Marco Polo and Verona airport, it's about an hour's transfer (by bus then train) to Vicenza; from Treviso airport, it’s about one hour and 30 minutes.

Vicenza station is on the main Milan-Venice railway link, served by numerous international trains. Trenitalia Le Frecce and Eurostar trains stop at Vicenza.
